Maths: Complete this Year 6 arithmetic workbook. You can either print this or just write down the answers on paper. Click on the video link for each set of questions if you don’t know how to complete them or to check your answers.

Spelling: Learn all 100 words on the Year 5 and 6 word list. They can be practised on Readiwriter – just search ‘Year 5 and 6’ – or if it’s easier, you can learn them the old-fashioned way (read, cover, write, check).

Reading: Read every day for at least 45 minutes. You can find PDF links and audiobooks for all the Horrid Henry books here or for more difficult books here. Listening to an audiobook while you read along with the text is a good way to improve your reading. Alternatively, you can take books out of your local library.
